As the proud new owner (second S2K) of a new Laguna Blue, I cannot express how wonderful this car is -Since this my second S, I konw exactly how it compares - All the little things done to it have not diminished the overall excellence of this car - I normally dont do a lot of posts due to the overall negativeness of the responses I see - The S2000 is the best value in sports cars now(new or used) and should be praised irregardless of which of the seven years it was produced -I would flame any other model of car before I would this one(any year) -I will post some pics as soon as I locate my camera...

Sell your wheels (For next to nothing)

just kidding, they're not THAT bad... but it is still the first thing I'd do. That, exhaust, and a drop.

So how is the "drive by wire" throttle system? Do you notice any lag when stepping on the gas, especially when shifting?

You need to see the car in person. I was really disappointed in the wheel design when the brochure was released, but in person I really like them. You can complain all you want to about the seats. The 2006 seats will disguise the wear alot better than previous models. The Roll bar speakers are much better than the headrest speakers, I'm not an audiophile so I can't explain it to you. I own the headrest speakers - you can tell the difference. Check the N. Texas Board, I've posted pics there. You can adjust the seat the exact same. You want more angle in the seat back, move the seat foward more. You couldn't possibly have missed that. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=339453

im not that stupid. or maybe i am. but i honestly tried to give a fair eval.

there has to be a difference in the throttle. with the car off, i already felt a different feeling in how the pedal went down and sprang back up.

glad you like your new car

I honestly can't feel any difference in the throttle response. The grain i the seats isn't that great, but I'm sure they'll grow on me. I think they're very comfortable, and the roll bar speakers are great. They make a huge difference.
