Yup, same thing happened to me. Within a seek I had a chip which turned into a crack then a spider. It was winter so I think the changing temperatures had a lot to do with it getting so big so fast.

my oem one had gotten pitted so badly that when the sun would shine, it was difficult to see....had it replaced and 3 days later a rock on the highway hit it and cracked it....the shop that put it in used the pressure/vacuum to fix it
I know how you feel I had mine replaced and a few hours later this huge rock flew up and hit my NEW wind shield and it only left a bit of white dust. If that was the OEM glass I would be buying a new windshield.

PPG is a glass company that makes some of the best windshields. They are actually OEM on tons of cars, even Hondas, just not the S2000:

Honda Acura MDX
Honda Accord (Sedan)
Honda Civic
Honda Odyssey
Honda Pilot

But no seems to be able to dispute the fact that "glass IS glass."

I was on the way out of town and the same thing happend. Small nick in the passenger side. As luck would have it, I had an appointment to have the rubber rim around the windshield replaced as it was coming out at the top and wouldn't stay put.

The glass joint couldn't replace the rubber without removing the glass. They broke it LOL.

New windshield. Complete shite luck.

If your under warranty.......... Hmmmmmm

most liekly its that windshield is more upright hence more bugs and more rocks hitting it. Glass is glass live with it lol

Good news! That cheap PPG replacement windshield is 1000x better than the original Honda glass Fear not friends and don't get OE glass or you'll be buying more again in no time. Get the PPG replacement glass. That shit's bulletproof!
Just got my PPG replacement about two weeks ago. The OEM windshield gets pitted so easily

Dont feel bad, I had a rock strike my windsheild on the lower "black part" you could not see it....Needless to say I did not notice it till I turned on my defrost after I got off work one night and it split halfway up my windsheild ...Sucks
