Default no more fix it tickets?

From what i heard is that in california there are no longer smog refs. they have eliminated them and instead of getting fix it ticket for your exhaust they just give u 1 point on ur license and u pay the fine. does anyone know anymore info about this? to some our drivers license is everything and every point counts.

Then don't break the law. You break the law, you get caught, you pay a penalty. I speed, I get caught, I pay. Simple.

i wasnt talking about speeding. im talking about fix it tickets now if there is anyone that knows about this situation with non correctable exhaust/ mod tickets or heard of it let me know.

smart ass's and people with neg comments get out of the tread you clowns dont help anyone!!! you arnt even in cali...
I think the point they are trying to make is, if you are compliant, you don't have to worry. If you are not compliant, well you are taking the risk and should be an adult and accept the results of your actions.

i got a fix it ticket for my head lights. although they were legal (which i later won in court)

My boy got a fix-it ticket for his stock spoiler on his evo, because it was "obstruction of view".

my mom got a ticket going 60 on a 55 going DOWNHILL, give an asian women a break eh?

theres some more horror stories, enjoy your non-dick state.
