no casue it still talks about taking it to a ref station from what i heard they shut down ref stations casue cali cant afford it no more

 

Try here, as has been instructed several times! And as you have stated people who are not in Cal would not know, so why did you post this in the general forum?

 

What a stupid state to have an officer spend valuable law enforcement time to only collect a $10 fine. Who would pay any attention to that law?

 

cause cops have nothing better to do.

It's usually hundreds of dollars and the point is to target street racers basically trying to make it as expensive as possible to do there thing. Works fairly well.

 

You should check on the Ca.Gov site. S2ki is probably not the authority on California law.

 

REF stations are shut down here BUT you can still get fix it tickets..
IT is YOUR job to request a extension untill the ref stations come back.. OR else you will be fined lots of money...

SO you will still get REF tickets
