I was just browsing around and found this "gem" on ebay. needs some new bumpers and exhaust, but, a memorable colour combination that looks to be in really good condition. hmmm, do i need a second AP1? do you?

This is NOT my car nor do i have any connection to it.

You're right about one thing, "gem" certainly belongs in quotes

I got my 2002 back when roadsters were on the decline upon a bad economy (2008), I paid more and with more mileage, with a sort of economic recovery, looks promising...

No reserve just means they bid on their own listing to increase the price. Word of advice buy in person. EBay is a sellers market.

Rare color combo. Only 275 Berlina Black with the all red interior sold in the US.

Condition looks pretty good but very hard to tell from photos. Definitely needs some deletion of mods. Red flag... the listing doesn't show the drivers seat condition. Best to see it in person, drive it, have it checked out by a mechanic.

There are inspection services. I've used them for several car purchases -- both out of town and out of state.

FYI, sold for $11,999 with 1 bid. Not a bad deal if it presents as well in person as it does in the photos.

Given the "mods" done I'd be nervous about upkeep etc on this one.

Given only one bid, I think others had the same feeling. Those were some pretty sketchy mods imo.
