oddly enough it's not included with a Modena either
perhaps there is a reason for the difference?
perhaps roadside assistance is only a sales differentiator for buyers of certain types of cars?

some guy last week at HOT IMPORT DAZE sure could have used some roadside assistance. S2000 had 1100 miles and was clacking all over..... local dealer said "we close at 2:00, sorry.... he lived 80+ miles from york....

I think he was going to try and make it home.

My insurance company offers roadside assistance for $4.00 per year per vehicle. Kind of a no brainer.

there is no one to one relationship between getting a meaningless perk like roadside and the value of the car. as mentioned before some cars need it in combination with other things (like rebates, low financing, etc.) to drive sales over other more popular, more reliable brands. you ever wonder why the vast majority of those 0.0%-2.9% for 60 mo. financing deals are on american cars? It because they NEED it to compete with higher quality imports from Japan and Europe.

When I said you I didn't mean you/Aaron. I didn't mean to make the post sound like it was directed towards you. It was meant to mean the collective you/y'all. Sorry man

Not trying to be a Post Whore, but I swear this will be my last post today. The Saturn SC coupes offers a third seat to get in the back seat. All of the car magazines think this is ingenious but guess what, nobody else has follow suit(sp?). Hyundai's and Kia's have a 10 year powertrain warranty free and no one else offers anything close to that. Just because your lowly Geo Metro had roadside assistance doesn't mean every car should. If I remember correctly, some Geos didn't come with power steering and even now in the 21st century power steering is an option on some cars and not a standard. Another thing to think about is the offering or lack thereof of ABS in certain cars. If you are going to be irked, be irked about some actual features of cars that should be standard not frivilous things like road side assistance. Actually if you are going to drive a Geo metro, you might actually need road side assistance. hahaha j/k. I don't mean to sound angry, it just comes out that way...

"Can't you drive any faster???"
"I can't!!! It's a GEO!!!!!!" The Simpsons
