my girlfriend knows when im about to punch it..

i turn off my a/c (if its on), look into my side view for any oncoming traffic (onto an onramp).. she then puts her head back into the little helmet pocket so that she doesnt get her head whipped back violently.

7k, and vrooooom, we're off! and yes, i shift at 9000!!

love it love it love it!

I'm glad that others are redlining their S2k's.

I've only owned mine for a month now (MY07), and I redline 2 and 3 most of the time and I love every minute of it.
I have worried that this might cause pre-mature engine failure, but from what I've heard on this site, probably not.
Guess this engine is made for this.

Damn old thread.
I usually try and shift right before redline. I am sure the extra 100-200 RPMs makes no difference in engine life but gives me a little peice of mind. I probably hit the rev limiter like once every few months lol

What's the problem with the rear diff.
When I bought my 07 last month, one of the guys at the dealership says that he races his, and that I should have the diff checked at 80k mile.
Is this a known problem and wouldn't it be covered under the 100k power train warrentry?
