What's the problem with the rear diff.
When I bought my 07 last month, one of the guys at the dealership says that he races his, and that I should have the diff checked at 80k mile.
Is this a known problem and wouldn't it be covered under the 100k power train warranty?

Useful info, I'm new to Hondas and my previous mr2 redlined at like 7200 but you did get any more power after like 6500. When I redline the S I feel like I could punch past 8k if the car would let me but for fun take a look at the recommended up shifts in the owners manual.

You guys ever heard of supercharging these motors? That would be bad ass />
You won't need to supercharge the s2000 Honda is developing now. I heard they are increasing the displacement to 2.2 liters and it's going to make about 300whp and 250tq.

I've had my AP2 for about 2 months now and I haven't even broken 5k, let alone 8k rpm. I plan to baby the car as long as I own it. Frankly I didn't get an S2k because I enjoy driving a roadster... just wanted something that keeps its value.

These motors will lose power if you don't redline them often. Dyno proven...
