owen, i can't speak for the VAFC2 since i have a VAFC, but you shouldn't have to touch the vtec engagement point, if you're simply trying to hit up the default settings.
you should leave all that work for when you're on the dyno and have a very experienced tech there who knows how to tune your car properly. if you're playing with your own settings, you're doing so at your own risk.
a VAFC is rather invasive on the engine and can do some damage if you don't know exactly what you're doing. case in point ... i'm driving all the way to CA to visit shawn (ultimate lurker) since i have yet to hear of a reputable dyno in arizona that knows how to tune an S.
