Noob question
Found it, it's not in the manual after all. Fifth bullet down.

3,750 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.
Personally, I changed mine a little bit early.

don't use any synthetic until after 10,000 miles.
also, keep your receipts, as someone already stated. if it ever comes into question, you better be using 10w30 and the PCX oil filter from honda. while a denial of warranty based on oil is shady, you never know.
also, there is no reason to really even change the oil on this car earlier than about 5000 miles. 3000 mile oil change intervals are a waste of resources and money. heck, with a good synthetic, you can go 10k no problem.
also, a good conventional oil will protect just as good as synthetic. the biggest reason to use synthetic is because you want to wait a longer time to change the oil, or you live where temperatures get very extreme.

For added measure I have the dealer do my oil changes. I supply my own oil as well.
My only lack of foresight was not making the dealer specify the brand and weight of oil on the work order.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) the next oil change is going to be right at or after the warranty expiration.
I keep a log of all the work done and fuel added to the car. It's in the .sig below. Never mind the bandwidth-piggishness of the website, that's Apple's fault.
