Default Not-so-steep Car ramp

Like most of us, I opt to do my own oil changes instead of letting the folks at Jiffy Lube mess it up...question: my S has the Amuse lip spoiler & KG/MM's, so jacking the car up is a hassle (plus I'm looking to get an X-brace), so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any car ramps you can buy where the angle is not so steep that I'm going to scrape the lip (want to use the ramps instead of the jack/stands)? THX.

just as an alternative solution, how about building some little mini ramps out of wood so you can drive your car up and high enough to then be able to use the jack you already have, then get it up on some jackstands?

just a possibility you might consider.

Right, I just use 2 short pieces of 2x12 , one on each side, drive onto them and then my floor jack fits.

you can even use phone books, basically anything to drive up onto to get your jack to fit under the car. just remember to have them back in place when you lower the car.

hey pat whats up buddy. i use 2 2x6's and just drive right up on them and i have no problem. although you should have no problem jacking your car up from the side as you have no skirts. i was able to get my car up from the side until i put my kit on.

ralper,

Built a pair using your pics in another post as a blue print a few weeks ago. Excellent idea thanks for sharing!
