Hey guys i'm sure there probably a thread on this but i've noticed a nouch shifting from 4th to 5th, its kinda weird can you all explain?

 

not sure what you mean. want to try to explain the symptoms? also how many miles you have on the car, if the tranny fluid has been changed, things like that.

 

I think he means notchy shifting from 4th to 5th. The first few thousand miles on my car, I had really notchy shifting only from 4th to 5th and it happened all the time, all of the other gears were great. After a while it went away.

 

Make sure the transmission is warm and is broken in. Also, you have to get used to "manipulating" the double H pattern - when shifting through the middle section, don't keep pushing it up - once you get the effort syched to where the knob is, you'll find that it shifts much better.
