Note: I have taken the blacked out lights off, because they are illegal here, and have gone back to stock.
Praise to who ever made that law!

I hope all goes well getting the car sorted again.

Good to hear she's okay. Thanks for the reminder. My girlfriend asked me the other day why I don't take the S on those "spirited" backroad drives anymore. I told her that I did an autocross this year on a rainy day and I spent most of the time spinning
did a number of rainy Autox's this year, did wonders for teaching me how to control the car in the rain. For anyone who is scared of the car in the rain (or any other conditions) I highly recommend a lot of autox. My car control skills have vastly improved because of it.

Props to you for letting the wife drive your S2000. I avoid driving my S2000 in the rain but especially if my tires are near the end of their lives.

Those tires suck in the rain, especially if it's cold. I know, I live in Oregon and have rolled my S in the wet w/those same tires, I'm running a 285 in the rear and the road wasn't even really wet (damp). Now the car sits in the shop/garage until it gets warmer, kind of sucks really as it'll be there till pretty much March or so. Flogging the TSX in the rain is pretty fun though, I've got some all season performance radials and am pretty impressed with how it grips the road.

Same sorta thing happened to me last month. Came around a corner with too much throttle on a wet day and lost the back end. Luckily there was nobody in the oncoming lane cause I went rear first into the opposite ditch. Now I have a nice scuff on my rear bumper and my passenger side skirt area is dented in . Luckily there was no suspension or mechanical damage that I've noticed.
