To tell you the truth, all this talk about how the S is more ricey now due to the low ownership cost of obtaining one, and how ricey it is becoming, i just want to ask you members: Do you actually see these ricey s2k's?

Honestly, i haven't seen one ricey s2k. Not at all and i live in ORANGE COUNTY (SO CAL), the land of S2k's..

Feel free to chime in.

I know. Volk wheels are so rice (ignore the fitment). So are J's headers and exhaust. Amuse is crap too. Just look at the Mugen hood....

You're about to get 'd like a champ.

Personally, I don't mind the higher percentage of junky S2000's on the road today, there are other things degenerating due to the lower age group around the car now that bother me more.

Just to be clear, my statement was done in jest. If I am to get flamed because I DO think Volk/J's/Amuse/etc. are worthwhile performance oriented mods (hence the ), then so be it.

I see quite few around here that are lowered and/or have wheels and maybe window tint. A couple of them have exhausts.

I don't really consider that ricey, but I suppose some might. I don't see any really stupid ones with ugly body kits and primer colored fenders or anything like that.

I'm leaving mine stock, I don't care how low the value gets. I like it the way it is.
