On my front bumper within the last month or so... I have notice that my paint is bubbling... What the heck is that all about?!?!?!?!

 

that's called a maaco paint job. OEM paint wont bubble unless the spot under it is rusting.

 

except for the fact that this is a factory paint job!!! My roommate said that sometimes if the dealership washes it and uses engine degreaser to remove gunk from the paint it will do that... what do you think?

 

Only if they leave the degreaser on and dont take it off. Even then, the paint will discolor and turn white.

 

I know for a fact that the only paint that has been on my car was what was on it when it came from the factory! So, then, what the hell?

 

Well, there's one thing that'll make it bubble and not discolor. Brake fluid. Someone probably splashed brake fluid on your bumper or something out of jealousy.

You mean your car is completely factory? Did you buy it new? If not then I'm willing to bet the previous owner had the front end repainted for some reason or another.

Psssssst Kane, the likelyhood of there being rust under the paint on the bumper is as good as you actually getting this girl to talk to you.
