well, the connectors are held together by a typical RJ45 cable, so you could just get a really long one to hook up to one of your systems in your home.

Hi All!

I couldn't quite find anything with a search...

Can anyone please tell me the specifics about the cable/package you guys are referring to? I'm very interested!

Thanks a lot!

Siepel: there was recently a group buy for a OBD-II system to pulll codes and "flight info" off your S2000. You should check the group buy threads or search for ODB-2 (or II).

CD:Greetings .....see Amazon;

The following items were included in this shipment:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Qty Item Price Shipped Subtotal
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Getting to Know OBD II $59.95 1 $59.95

Shipping & Handling: $8.98
Total: $68.93

Yellow S2000:
I swear I didn't steal the cable! Sorry I "ratted" (aka Gerbiled) you out on the Ricks Leather Center Console today. How was I to know you modified the car when she wasn't home?????

OK. I got it working. Hardest part was finding the connector from S2000. As Shing said, it was on passenger side. It was toward the console and it's facing downward.

You don't need to have a notebook. You could use desktop as long as you have power and long enough serial(RS-232) extention cable which you could buy from Computer shop.

Once you connect it, you will have to UNZIP downloaded ZIP file using utility like WINZIP. Once you unzip, you'll see a file called OBD2.exe Run this program by dbl clicking it.

Rest is pretty much as same as what Shing said.

Good luck & cheers,

I have few questions. Can this be used for '95 Acura Legend & '95 Honda Civic? If it does, could anyone tell me where the connector is in each car?

TIA & cheers,
