When i dynoed my car i Tried the Stock Airbox and the BMC CDA to see the Difference and it came out 5.3kw and after that i Used Silkolene Pro Boost -Octane improver and i didnt get more power-0.3 kw and the peak power was at 8600 rpm not at 8300 but as i expected it made the Curve As flat as possible and it had much improvements on the Torque especialy at 7000rpm.10 nm difference
Check the link.

Lucas Octane Boost is the best. Will raise your octane by 5 pts.. It is illegal for street use. Thats how they get away with the high concentration of the additive they use to get it there. Do a sesarch on Lucas oil products and make the decision for yourself.

Toluene or xylene. Check out google for mixes you can make and how to calculate effective octane.

A while back a test was done using an actual octane testing machine. it showed (of the US street legal brands they tested) that NOS octane booster gave the highest increase. (about 3 points)

5 points is equal to .5 Octane. 10 points would raise 89 to 90. Don't see much of an improvement there?
