I'm like Razor. With the stock exhaust - top up or down all I ever heard was engine.

I'm with RazorV3 and lig. All I really hear is the engine, I don't ever notice the exhaust.

I also agree with those who think the 350Z exhaust sounds nice. I love that deep tone it emits. IMO, it sounds better from outside than from inside the car, though.

I've gotta say I like the factory exhaust so far (<1500 miles). In fact, it seems plenty loud over 5k rpm. So much so, that I am careful who is in the area when going up there. I don't think I would want it any louder. The tone could be a little raspier though. I hear a very noticeable change at VTEC - deeper, louder, more of a growl.

i have a video clip of it, it sounds like the apex'i ws. its loud enough just to let others know its not stock. it has a nice, refined tone which makes it sound like the expensive exhaust it is.

i highly recommend it if you are a conservative person.
