OEM intake vs aftermarket cold air
So I've heard from a couple people that the OEM stock airbox is prolly the best intake for our car because of the air box acting as an air chamber. Im actually running the AEM v2 right now and its fine except when it rains . Just wanted to get some input since many high quality aftermarket intakes also incorporates the air chamber along with a snorkel. Post up your opinions, facts, and dynos!

i actually had the chance to dyno my car with both the stock air box and the aem V2....
and on the stock air box it made 222rwhp on a dyno dynamics, and with the aem v2 it made 215rwhp.
both pulls were made back to back.......so i guess you can figure out the rest. lol
hope this helps.

That's not sad, that's great that OEM is better than paying out the ass for aftermarket.
PrOsPeCt S, do you have a dyno sheet on the runs you did with the V2 and your stock box?
I have made power with my box design over stock with back to back dyno runs.

Seriously...I'm with Puddy...do you have a dyno sheet. Seems everyone else makes some power with the V2.
I'll certainly try to test that next dyno day.
