Default OEM shift knob alignment problem

i just noticed last night that my shift knob is not aligned anymore...
it usually reads 1 3 5
2 4 6 R

but now it's about 90 degrees turned clockwise... is anyone else having the same problem? any fixes? i've never changed my s2k shift knob before.

I'd bring it in to Honda and let them worry about it.

you should have the knob in the correct position and use the lock nut on the bottom of the knob to hold it in position.

To elaborate, use a 14mm wrench to loosen the locknut (the nut right under the base of your shiftknob) then align the knob and hold it in place while tightening the locknut snugly to the base. It'll take you less than a minute.
