it is heavier & the ti knob gets a nice smooth finish over time. the stock alum knob never does. I have had all three OE knobs & prefer the Honda ti over all including any aftermarket knobs as it fits the hand the best with no sharp edges. The short fat ones everyone gets are not very conformed to the shape of my hand. Personal pref.

Does the 01 knob and the Ti knob have any differences when it comes to size and shape?

The stock optional one pictured first is probably the same as the ITR shift knob. I don't think they are TI as they are quite heavy (not a bad thing). TI tends to be feather light. Although hella sexeh, they get too hot for my taste. It will burn your hand in the summer.

Check your facts

Titanium is more dense then aluminum and weighs more, ex. the aluminum Voodoo knob weighs less then the Ti knob and they are the exact same sixe and shape!

He's right. I thought titanium was lighter too though, looks to be 60% heavier than aluminum. -> http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele022.html

But for a shift knob, this is good, the weight helps you shift.

Ricks Voodoo FTW. The only absolute must have mod for the S2000.

Titanium may be denser, but I believe they put weights in the Aluminum shift knob. If you take off the knob you may notice that it

the titanium one is heavier that the stock one. I have both, although I did not weigh them.

They are the same shape and size. The only difference in all practical terms (which exclude minimal weight differences) is the color and slight texture.

I would like a titanium one.

I have the Ti one. I like it better than the Al one and it doesn't dent up from my college ring like the Al one did.
