me too. now, if i can only get the rest of the AS grid to run street tires, it would be perfect...

I always found it odd that there is no real street tire class for cars that can't carry 4 tires (ie S2000) but there is for cars that can (Evo, Sti).

Yeah, it would have been neat if they took off the CDV for CR's.
Here in SoCal, we just created local class for this a Street tire'd S2000 with STU type mods.

Hopefully Poppa SCCA will watch us and adopt one soon too.

Milwaukee region has a class for RWD-Street tire, AWD-Street tire and FWD street tire also. Cars inside each of those classes run an index based on their class (AS-HS, SM, SM2) otherwise.

yeah, that milwaukee street tire class infected the last tour i did there. if you do not have the proper prep level, do not try and change the rules to fit your car. retarded. anyway, should be an awesome season.

I kinda like it for a big club like milwaukee SCCA. I've never really understood why R-Compounds are allowed in stock classes but not in street touring classes.

This year will be the first since 2004 I'll have been running on street tires.

Given the conversation, I'm looking for a used tire trailer (HF) if anyone has any leads. In Chicago but can drive a couple hundred miles.

i would just buy one new. they are cheap, and easy to setup. not to mention, there are a million ways to configure them. what works well for me, may not necessarily work for you.
