It's the same tips from regular ap2. I actually was looking around the other day to see if I can powdercoat them since they are kind of shiny compared to the rest of the car. The badges are dark so I'd like to make the tips match. Powdercoating would be easy and the tips pop right off with on bolt that holds them from underneath.

While we are on the topic of exhausts, will an exhaust made for ap2 fit the CR? No rear sway bar size issues or anything? I'm not hunting yet but I wi be in a year or so.

I'll be doing the same. Even if I get an aftermarket kit, I'll see if I can have the tips powder coated semi-flat black to match the trim on the rest of the car.
