That's the concept, we'll see what I can pull off in reality... I'd like to use the same material if possible and have it recess into the space left by the spare. It's one of MANY projects and isn't going to happen anytime soon.
Mchester, is the soft top retrofit done yet by any chance? I can't remember if you had updated it or not.

As to the reason for a tire size bump up...... my thought was to visually eat up some of the gap. From a practical standpoint.... no real advantage. Curious about width on oem rims. Any reason one could not go one size wider and not have clearance or performance issues? Also, thoughts on a "streetable" race tire? Dry use only. Not much else worth considering changing out on the CR other than radiator, hoses, lines... again cosmetic. Just not a fan of the oem clips, hoses and lines under the hood. Got to have something to think about while I feed the wood stove while she sits outside in the snow at -25f ...... Long wait till summer

A few photos... ok, not a CR, but still like em...

Cool Mulder!

As far as the new SPRINGS debate, what does everyone think of these from Swift that are fully customizable? I don't remember seeing anything on it previously but I could be wrong.

You need to bring it to the S2K autocross Sunday 11-22-09 in Bedford. See the North Tex fourm for details.
