Apparently the driver couldn't stay in the lines and drifted off the road several times during cornering. Third time he caught sand and spun off the road.
Lane control - if you can't take a corner, you need to slow down.
Wow, this is the first thread on s2ki that I've read in years.
I came to the forums after a long absence looking for info about the TPMS light being on, but found this thread. Cringe-inducing, but I can relate to all these pictures.
I'm on my 3rd s2k. My Honda dealer loves me. First was 2004 NRF, second was 2007 NFR. Third is a 2008 BB. Red seemed like a bad luck color, since the 2004 s2k replaced a red del sol that was totaled when a woman going the opposite direction made a left turn into my 50 MPH path.
First s2k was totaled 02/2007 when a man in a toyota camry or corolla ran a stop sign in front of me (I was doing about 45mph). I t-boned him. We were both taken to the trauma center. I was in a lot of abdominal pain, but the only real injury was bruises and a cut knee. The other dude was severely and permanently injured.

Second one was totaled 05/2008 while my husband was driving. We were t-boned by some sort of jeep. I don't remember the accident, and two previous days memories were wiped out. Complete amnesia. My memory now sucks. Husband was in the hospital for 2 weeks with all the left side ribs broken and a ruptured spleen. This accident was unfortunately deemed his fault (though the other drivers extreme speed played a part, in my husband's opinion). For some reason, the pictures don't look as bad as it did in real life.
I'm hoping the latest one will last me. Drive carefully.

Hey, guys i crashed a dealer s2k i was going to buy this really sucked bc i found a killer deal 05 black 25kmiles $15k, basically what happend is i belive there was ice on the road or something because i shifted from 1st to 2nd between 3-4k rpm n i lost the rear end i had control for a second then i completely lost it and end it up between a tree and a wall but both me and the dealership guy are okay, i just fractured my ankles.
um the dealership insurance payed it off i dont have to pay anything, the tires id say werent in the best condition but i dont know for sure as im not a tire expert as far as i know they werent good the thread was to the penny head im not sure how to explain it, and it was very cold that day id say 20 degrees and i had the top down for some reason i hate it with the top on.
Not normally my thing, especially in the situation of a car accident, but you're story really doesn't add up in my opinion.
You said it was 20degrees, but people in the background shots are wearing short sleeves....
2nd, if you have tread depth to the head of a penny you have enough left. But truthfully, has anyone actually checked the tread depth with a penny before going on a test drive?? Let alone in the dark....
3rd...You state a 1-2 shift got the back end lose and you ended up in a tree with major front end damage, and enough velocity to then keep the car rotating around the tree until it hit the wall. That looks like a lot more damage than a 20-25mph crash would entail says the physics student inside me.
Again, not trying to call you out or screaming BS here. But the inputs don't equal the story as far as the pictures tell.
