You are supposed to have to post your VIN to be identified as an owner. If you didn't post the VIN of the 2001 S2000 you appear to own, then the forum software is broken and we need to get it fixed. Are you SURE you didn't enter a VIN and identify yourself as an owner? I'd hate to ask the software gurus to fix a problem that isn't real.

^ hmm, I never had to input a vin# when I said I was an owner... just put the year and color combo.

I'll have to look into it then. You're supposed to have to prove that you're an owner by posting the VIN. That keeps posers from mis-identifying themselves. I'll have to see if we can get this fixed. Thanks.

^Hey, I didnt have to put in a VIN as well. just color/car combo. Maybe its a security thing so some hacker doesnt get info on vins/places/etc.

As it turns out, the requirement for entering a VIN was dropped some time ago, and I was just ignorant of the fact. Turns out that it's not really practical when people start flipping cars.

I wish we had used a VIN based system...that would've been cool.

I'm still hoping we get a "MEMBER/USER" search based on zip code. You would be able to reach local s2k owners in any area.

As far as i know you still have to enter wether you are an owner or an enthusiast?
is the default owner or enthusiast? i guess is what my question is.
