Saw this on Facebook but I don't know any details about it other than it happened somewhere in Turkey.

Got rear ended while waiting at a traffic light on Cornelius Pass near Cornell intersection (Hillsboro). The driver of the truck that hit me accelerated rather than brake!!! So sad and waiting to hear from insurance company tomorrow. My poor car was so well maintained and had only 52K miles on it 
Have owned this 02 since 04 and it seems to be totaled from the damage ... The firemen came over and surprised at no damage to the passenger compartment ....so guys we should be proud of the structural rigidity and design of the car. So close to the supercharger install too ........ (planned next month)

Perfect storm is the only explination i have.
Wasn't goofin around just drivin normal top down just enjoyin life no more than 70mph i am pretty sure,just merged and moved over two lanes.....caught a big piece of retread. Car went batsh*t crazy on me i spin across 3 lanes of traffic on a satuday afternoon of a holiday weekend. Did my damdest to save her wasnt scared just could not for the life of me see throught that godd&m smoke and get my bearings while the car was spinning [couple witnesses said i did really good -thanks but my best wasnt good enough apparently] got out of the spin but not enough time to stop her before she hit the wall. Didn't get hurt and didn't hurt anyone else.
Rest of the car is ok except the windsheld is done and the airbags went off.
Still in denial that it even happened kinda, really hard to accept that that's my car in the garage.

Same here, used to live in Bradenton about 5 years ago (now Portland, OR). Had a Laguna Seca blue Integra / MR2 and M3 (yes all Laguna blue)

Don't have any pics but bought a pristine 2002 AP1 Suzuka Blue and only had it 5 months before I t-boned a lady. Car was still driveable but the estimate was more than half the value so they had to total it. Than that bodyshop I later heard rebuilt it and some Hyundai dealership got a hold of it and sold it. Now I drive a Nissan Juke, it's ok but I want and will get another S2k, I plan on trading in the Juke in about a year or so.
