After reading on this thread for a while, I am very impressed in how these cars survive the crashes considering it's an open top car!

This is one car where I felt like I cannot even for a split second doze off. The steering is so sensitive that you look away for a split second and you're headed to a wall.
Need to find a skidpad event to learn how to react in situations where control is lost.

Autocross is an excellent opportunity to practice correcting a loose car.

Glad you're ok. I highly doubt though that the posted speed limit for that curve is "50mph"....
