Default Oh how I miss my s2000

Hi!

Been checking in periodically to see if the prices of s2000's have dropped at all since I sold mine. I am currently parting out my MR2, and I plan to either purchase another MR2 Turbo or a high mileage AP1. Do AP1's ever pop up in the $8,000 or less range? I have seen a couple... Just curious what some of the more active members have seen.

All of the ones I have seen are typically 10-15. My MR2 is a 3rd stall filler, and if I bought another s2000, it would be the same. Just want something fun to drive on nice days.

What do you think? Is it possible to find them in $7,000-$8,000 range or am I dreaming? haha!

You would have to look in to a salvaged title for a S2k under 10k.

If you still had your S would you sell it for $7000-8000?

Not lately. I bought my 02 back in 2010 for 8400 bucks. It was the steal of a lifetime. Nowadays if you see one that it under 10k its usually in very bad condition.

I'm sure you may be able to stumble across some poor examples in that range.

It would be very tough to find a clean car regardless of miles for that price.

I've been searching for s2k's for about 2 months now. I saw one s2k that dipped below 10k (9.5) that was in good condition, but that guy was hella desperate. Sold 2 days after he lowered his price before I could make it down to buy it.

The name of this forum needs to be changed to 'S2000 Value and Market Talk with the Occasional Non Value and Market Question'

No, but mine was an 04, was in excellent condition and had low mileage.

That isn't a very catchy name.

I guess I will just have to be on the look out for a good deal.
