It really is turning into a timeless design. When all these "Space Ship" cars of today and tomorrow wear thin and become quickly dated, the S2000 will stand out as a classic, timeless design.

So, even though the s2000 can be had for little money now, I really think that these will be somewhat collectible down the road as many are destroyed and poorly cared for through the years.
Those hellagay s2ks come to mind. Completly ruined by idiot owners.
thats why whenever modding cars, especially the s2000 we should keep the mods CLEAN

i have a GPW s2000 w/red interior and i keep it nice, its funny my buddy my car, but on his block someone owns one with a bookshelf wing, stickers, and CF crap all over it, and its hideous, really a night and day difference

be proud of your Honda and dont be disrespectful and make it ugly, it truly is one of the greatest cars ever made

Always getting asked what it is.... A little bit of me died inside when my grandad pointed out a black mx5 (miata) and said "oooh isn't that the same as your car?"

People always think my GPW is either a Miata or a Boxster...it's certainly not very 'sinister' in white, but I love how classy and understated it looks. Definitely will be a collectible someday, these cars look like they could have rolled out of the factory yesterday.

Looks nothing like one (thankfully) to me. Sounds like something the "What kind of Miata is that?" people would say.

...and you don't have to get out to operate the top and a long list of other differences.

If high beltlines and increased frontal pedestrian safety were not the norm.
