Mobil 1 Synthetic is the drug of choice here but only after 5,000 break in miles.

Use any premium 10w30 oil for now and when you feel it is broken in (maybe 6K - 10K miles) you can look at using a synthetic.

I've been using Mobil 1 Synthetic oil since 7500 miles. I'm pretty happy with it...

Thanks Guys... I was concerned about my oil as well since I only just checked it since I bought the car. It has approx. 2200 miles on it. The tech at Honda said I should use 10w30.
later on maybe from 6000 miles I will start to use the Full Synthetic. Or just change my oil every 1500 - 1700 miles if I use regular oil.

Right now I am sure it needs some so I'll add non synthetic just to top it up. He also said that if the oil light had lit up, its too late, the engine had already been damaged which will show in it's later years. He said that the engine runs at 15psi or something and when the oil light is on It's actually running at 8psi or so.

Basically, check your engine oil regularly and you'll be fine. My suggestion is to have a few liters in your trunk.

Peace.
