I guess with the data, it seems normal to have zero consumption to 2 Litres between oil changes.

Can anyone describe the by-product of burning oil, carbon, soot? or does it burn hot enough just to have vapor that is exspelled through the exhaust?

One (US) pint in the first 2,000 miles. Am I driving her too easily? (Yes, I VTEC most times I go out, but I usually don't run over 7,500 RPM because of the low mileage.)

I have 25,000 miles and very little oil consumption. I city drive 85% of the time but I make it a point to Vtec at least once a day.......try every chance I get!

While on the subject, anyone use synthetic oil in their S2K? and would there be a significant difference?

My odometer reads about 6000km now, and the engine consumed almost 3Ls.

Mine has about 1.8k, and VTEC no more than 3-4 times, first VTEC and redline after 1.3k.

I have put in 1.5 quart of oil so far!
