i was checking the dip stick today and i noticed that the oil level dropped 2 notches after the wla meet. should it drop so much after a few hours of constant vtec? btw, i changed my oil 2k mi ago...which was 3 weeks back. also, im wondering if i should change synthetic...

I have noticed that too. You will consume more oil during VTEC. Especially if your car is new. I check my oil at every fillup and keep it topped off.

Tag, if your run was like mine... I have never run at such extended high speed before (maybe 30 minutes at 80+ MPH, geared down for passing).

 

that run was actually the first time ive vtec-ed continously for extended period of time. just felt like i was abusing the engine and transmission...i suppose im just sensitive and baby-ing it too much...
