Oil Usage

I know this topic has been posted to death, but I now have 950 miles on my car and had to add 1/2 quart for the first time last night. I have been VTEC'ing a little more often, so that probably has something to do with it.
Anyway - DON't get complacent about checking your oil! Mine didn't use a drop until now...

My experience with my S and the 2000 Prelude I had was:
VTEC = Oil Consumption. I've noticed that with the S (like the 'lude) the more I VTEC the more oil I use. Just have to remember to check the oil once a week.

I have mentioned before that my del Sol burns about a quart every 1000 miles when VTECing a lot.
However, with the S2000 I guess I got the good one
3500 miles on the original oil, VTEC'd a lot (after 600 miles) and I never lost a drop. Drove it hard 250 miles after the oil change and haven't lost any. The new oil is still so clean I can hardly see it on the dipstick!
