Ok.... Finally started that ball rolling!
Finally got off my arse. Made a round robin trip today. 1st to the insurance agent, 2nd to the credit union, and 3rd to the dealership.
Insurance was a little worse than what I hoped for but livable (God, I hate dealing with those people!). Credit union was a little better than what I expected. And the dealership was about what I expected, not great but not bad either. Bottom line is, they're looking for a MY04 GPW for me. Right now, all I've got to do is wait for the phone call. If they can find one, we'll work the deal. If not, I'll be waiting for a MY05 which won't be the end of the world either. It'll give me a few more months to add to the down payment.
Why do I suddenly feel like time is going to slow wwwaaaayyyyy down?
I'll keep you posted!
Drive Safe,
Steve R.

What dealership are you trying to work with right now?
I went with David McDavid in Clear Lake back in 12/02 and they gave me a heck of a deal.
Good luck on your hunt. Four more months till the 05's come out really isn't that far off.

John Eagle Honda on 290 has a GPW.
Click here and then click "Model" twice to arrange their inventory in reverse alphabetical order. They list it right now as "Taffeta White" but it's definitley a GPW.

The original Formula One car Honda entered in to competition in Germany 40 years ago was....you guessed it! White!
Only Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz have more years of racing experience in Formula one.
