ok guys, how does one make a kill switch?
Here's another idea:
Hook up a pressure switch to the starter circuit. In that way there's a spot (under the carpet, for example) you push while trying to start the car.
Another way is hooking up a relay to the starter/fuel pump and the keyless entry/aftermarket alarm in the "normally open" configuration. When the alarm is armed, the relay is open and the car won't start. When it's disarmed, the relay is closed. If the alarm is physically ripped out, there's no power to close the relay and the car won't start. This requires an alarm that will put out +12V on one of the wires when it is disarmed.
Alpine alarms have a +12V when disarmed.
The drawbacks are if the alarm fries, you're stuck. You could also consider adding some "bypass switch" in the trunk or some other out-of-the way location for just that situation.

I've always thought about adding a button that would be inline with the clutch switch. It would require you to press the clutch, push a hidden button, and the starter button to start the car.
