Ok Honda... Enough Is Enough. Where's the S3000?
We don't need new powerplant for S2000.
In fact, they should stop the production of this limited production car soon. hopfully they stop it after 2005.
You need more power, go get SC.
I guarantee, S2000 will out run Crossfire on a circuit track.

Personally I like the "one make"-ness of the S2000. When you see one on the road you know exactly what it is (barring no modifications). When you first caught wind of the car you knew exactly how much you needed to save. When you went to the dealer you didn't have to debate whether or not you wanted leather, or the bigger engine, or maybe save a few bucks and get it without a drop top.
There is one S2000.
Ok so now there are two, but you can only get one as new (:

Sh!t, just follow the concept and find a way to make a 5 cylinder work.
Seriously, though. The S2000 is wonderful, but it would be delightful if they could offer a wee more power. Something on the order of 350hp at the wheels, non-aspirated, of course.

The notion that in order for a sporty car to be fun to drive, it must require more horsepower
than its sibling sedan is nonsense. Anyone driven a Mini Cooper S or hell...even an original mini?
If the Accord had 280hp, how would that make it more fun to drive than the S2000? I didn't
buy a convertible for the luxury of its sound proofing or anemeties. I don't need a navigation
system on my sportscar. With a full tank of gas, a good road CD and the top down on a cool, breezy afternoon, there is no such thing as being lost.
