I really think this comes down to your personal preference. Obviously if you want more speed/power go with the s/c. If the S2000 has enough speed and power, go with the other various items.

get everything else and then go for the sc later! you have to have a better suspension and clutch in order to get better control under the sc's power, just my thoughts...

I have been going threw the SAME situation for soooo long now. Only rims are in the non supercharger list.

I was deciding between rims, amuse front lip, intake, clutch, suspension, and other things (brief list) ...or...the comptec sc kit and clutch.

However I have now decided I want the SC. It is something I can FEEL and have much more fun with, besides, the car looks great stock. (I know, I know, it's fast enough stock also..but..but.. , you get the point.)

Also, I no longer want the comptec sc, I want the vortech kit and think you should look into it if you have not already.

So for me...SC, clutch, clears. You will most likly need a clutch as well if you get the SC.

Well the reason I am looking at Comptech is because soooo many S2000 owners have it. From what I have heard, no one has blown their engine or anything. The major problem seems to be the brackets breaking.

And the Vortech kit doesn't really make that much more power. 108 in comparison to about 100. It also is brand new so there may be undiscovered problems. So far, I have been unimpressed w/ their ability to market the product. Not even a dyno???

As far as turbo, I've heard to many horror stories. Too expensive and too much maintenance.

I want something that I can just slap on there and not have to worry about more than a couple of times.

I had the gear grinding problem and when i whened back from the dealer for the TSB 55 done, the transmission seized....Now my car is at the dealer and i hope they will find a new trans. cause there is 34 or 36 pieces f**ked up and 16 pieces are back order.
And after beeing on this board for a little while i can see that this car is not the toughest car HONDA has made. ( gear grinding, fourth cylinder gripping, weak differential, clutch slipping )
I deffinitely will not go with the supercharger !!!
