One more question -=UPDATED=-
If this is your first track day, I wouldn't worry too much about performance, if it's some sort of high performance school track day, instructors will not allow you to go to extreme in the first place, and if you don't know the track you wouldn't do it as well. just make sure you have enough brake pads, if you want to change the fluid, great, if not, don't worry about it, focus on early exit and your line instead of late braking. don't tailgate and let racers tailgating you to pass, just drive smoothly and have fun, the S2000 shines on the track and you will love it.
only pass on straights, and make sure to stick your left arm (not your right) out of the window to signal for the guy in the back to pass you... unless it's free for all passing, which I'm pretty sure they don't do for beginners... unless they feel corky that day.
I have to go along with Mike here. If the car has been properly maintained, you're more apt to have problems with the driver. I generally have trouble getting a good nights sleep before an event, but if you can get your normal amount of sleep the night before, it helps. I also like to take a small ice chest packed full of Gatoraid. I usually pack a snack too, but then never have any appetite. First time out, take a snack along just in case you get hungry. I also carry a folding chair.
Arrive with yourself and the car in good shape, then listen to (and follow) all the instructions you're given, and you should be fine.

^ Wow, dude. You just quoted 11 paragraphs of text so you could add 3 "iagree" smilies. Dang.

I was trying to change my brake fluid today, but the shop didnt recommend me to do so, because they say it'll cause your abs to malfunction and all other crap that makes me stay w/ the original one lol........ is that true??
^ Depends. What type of fluid were you trying to use? IIRC, DOT5 can damage the braking system in the S2000, but others should not (including DOT5.1).
If you were trying to use a regular DOT 4 brake fluid, or one of the fluids recommended above, then I'd say that you should probably never return to that shop because they don't know anything about cars and will likely end up damaging yours.

Dot 5 is synthetic fluids. You could only use that if you have stainless steel lines from my understanding.
I don't know how changing the fluid could ABS to malfunction.
Helmet. - ebay. $50. works great. make sure it's DOT and Snell approved. I forgot what Snell number is required now. I think Snell 2000 is still ok.

Regarding the OP question about the helmet. Most HPDE schools will rent or let you borrow a helmet especially if it's your first event. If you find that you like tracking your car, then invest in a helmet later when you have more time to shop for one.
