Which one would you buy?
I'm looking to buy a used AP2
'04, '05', '06, '07, and thats it right? this is the last year?
but anyways, which one would you guys buy and why ??
for me.. i would buy an '05 becuase i hear that 05's didnt has Drive by Wire yet.
So i hear the '05s had a better throttle response,
please correct me if i am wrong!
your opinion is very much appreciated!!!

First of all, I would get an AP1, but I am not going to start an argument. As for the choices you gave me, I would agree with the '05 just because it wasn't the first year of the AP2 and it isn't a DBW so the SC is cheaper.

2007 is not necessarily going to be the last year of production. Honda has the "2008 Honda S2000 CR" advertised on their own website (whatever that means).
Yes, 2000-2005 has a cable-actuated throttle rather than the DBW on the 2006-current S2000s. However, many have commented that Honda executed DBW on the S2000 very well, much better than the Si in comparison. Check your other thread for at least one reference from someone with experience with both.

I would just get a new 2007 model, they're only going for 28k-29k before TTL. That's the better buy than buying a used car because you know how it was treated...

the only question that you should be asking for a ap1 or ap2 is...
do you want to be at 9k or not?
do you want to be at 9k or not?
And the debate continues in the world of AP1 vs AP2.
AP1 has 9k redline with 2.0L
AP2 has 8k redline with 2.2L
Power-wise, the AP2 has proven to put down more power at the wheels then the previous AP1, with a better usable power curve.
Also, depending on your tastes, the AP2 has much cleaner and meaner look. But hey, I own an AP2 so that's just me and all the other AP2 owners out there!
Also, most but not all go from an AP1 to an AP2 for aesthetic and power reasons. Some losers revert back to the AP1 for the "rawness"
AP2 FTW!!!

Buy it new cause the previous treatment of the car is a high risk factor. Being such a "raw" and "pure" sportscar will usually attract certain a type of driver.
