One year and 20 days later...
So I've had the S for a little over a year and I'm still in love with it. It's a daily driver and my only car. I play drums in a band that gigs fairly often and I use my tire trailer to carry my mountain bike to the trails. Here's a little history of my ownership that should be a good heads up for newbs:
-Bought the car with 15k on the clock and no warranty.
-Started auto-xing the car 5 days after purchase
-Found a spring spacer in the right rear shock. Doh!
-Found the source for a few interior rattles and solved them with simple dampening solutions
-Purchased comptech adj. front sway bar and some R comps for auto-x
-still have clutch buzz but it doesn't bother me
-just got some hard top strikers and the car feels like new with no wind noise and no latch rattle
-just started to have vibration in rear inner CV joints. I'll have to swap joints this winter
So after about 40 auto-xes and 150 or so clutch dumps with R comps the rear diff is still taking a licking and still ticking despite the rumors of it's fragility. Sure the inner CV's have pitted but that's better than a diff explosion.
... and I still love to drive home from work. I look forward to many more years of top down pleasure.
Peace

That's awesome to hear man...glad you have enjoyed your S2000
I've never auto-x'd my car but I sure would like to one day.
I also just bought MY02, trading in MY00 at a dealership in South Atlanta actually...I drove all the way to Atlanta from Charlotte to buy a Suzuka Blue one

I hear ya dude! This car is a blast and I BELIEVE I will still be luvin it until I get my next one, and then I'll be luvin that one!
I can't believe what I do just to drive it alittle more... sideroads, long-cuts, any excuse to take it out, topdown wherever, etc etc.
BEST decision EVER!
