opinion on trade value
I own a red '01 with oem front and rear spoilers. It has 5500 miles on it and no other mods to speak of. I can trade for a white/red '02 with 200 miles on it. The '02 will have the same spoilers. The trade difference is $4090. I bought the '01 in March and it had 980 miles and had been certified, so I'll get an extra year of bumper to bumper plus the 100k on powertrain. Are the few changes to '02 worth the $4000 plus the fact that it is a new car? Thoughts and opinions will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Scott

I'd say the biggest reason to trade would be if you prefer the white to the red...
$4K does seem reasonable for a year newer car, less mileage, glass rear window, longer warranty.
Wholesalers usually figuire a 1% reduction in price per 1,000 miles (under invoice) for a new model year car, so that would justify the $4K right there...
