Sounds like you need a good dose of a local S2K meet eh? I agree, though, knowing what other people see/hear when you car rolls by is always a tough one to capture, even on video.

I have some experience in this department...three times now...
The first such story is very cool and came early in my ownership. I was in Austin (!!!) and John David and I were going at it. From a light, we were side-by-side shifting in perfect unison up to about 90 mph. The sound was awesome and we literally were shifting at the exact same times!! Really neat.
Did the exact same thing Saturday with Unicron but I think we went a little faster.
Also on Saturday, I was just cruising along, leading the pack to some non-existent racing sight, doing about 75mph when, out of no where, Wes goes flying by me!! I didn't even see him coming. A rocket! Very cool. I start screaming into my radio for him to do it again and, You ba$tard ()...very sweet.

I have passed several people I know on a back road coming home from work. The comments are pretty much the same, they hear it coming, not sure what it is, shakes the widows as it passes and then a lower note as it leaves them in the dust......

about a km from our meeting place, theres an underpass,by the way we had police escort,as we started to go under the underpass everyone got exited and 50 ss at 9ooo is like an F1 start,to the point the motor cops stopped the transit for about 2km so everyone could go flat out, never im my life did i get that feeling, cant wait for may were having 120 ss,were guessing how thats going to be like, cant wait for may! Guys dont take my word for it,but its awesome.

It sounds simply amazing. I was playing leapfrog with a Silver S2000 a few days ago in San Francisco, and every time he passed me it sounded unlike any other street-legal exhaust or car I've ever heard before. From behind, near WOT, the S2000 sounds very much like a muted F1 car or a loud GP bike.

Remember the sound of 17 S2Ks pulling out of that filling station reving to 9K one after the other. YO BABY what a sound. Like an Indy race.
Tex S2K and I did the same thing after the last drive. We ran each other for three lights in a row. Cars were shifting at the same time through several gears before the next light. Sounded awesome.

I had lunch with Ultimate Lurker a while back and he gunned his S2K past mine before mine was warmed up. I was surprised at how quickly he pulled away from me.
We all sure have one fast car.
