I met the guy a couple of weeks ago at the Thursday Boba meet. It's a replica car, but it had Spoon parts in/on it. I didn't get too close to it, but he at the very least had the Spoon rims and brakes. A real shame. Dunno when this happened, or how, at least it appears that no one got hurt.

My buddy's on Team Hybrid, and that's another member - cool guy - I met him a while ago at a Flames/Starbucks meet in Northridge earlier this year.

That paint job is quality - sad story because it was going to the new paint's show debut.

Story has it that the driver was trying to burn some gas (you know how some shows require you to have 1/4 tank or less), and combined with bald tires, just not a good combination. I'm not sure if the owner was drivin hard/hot-dogging, so I won't assume. He has my benefit of the doubt because it's quite an unfortunate accident.
