Don't get me wrong the new Si is a great car...but The S2000 and New Si are two totally different cars. Both do what they are intended to do well. For a DD the New Si for someone that wants something w/ more room and some decent power the Si would be 1st in my book as far as roasters obviously the S2k would be my first choice..lol Enjoy the car it has alot into LSD, 197hp, ect ect...

A Civic Si or an S2K...whaddya nuts??? C'mon, there's no comparrison. That would be kinda like saying a Cavilar is close to a Corvette.

If you need the comfort and space with a little bit of open road fun, Civic SI is a really good alternative

The Si would be a better DD. You could have done what I did. Keep the S (I'm never selling it.) and buy a Honda Fit as your DD. I love the Fit because it's comfortable, cheap and you can carry a lot of stuff. And best of all, it's fun to drive. OT, but I just bought a 2001 Audi TT 225hp, 6 speed for my gf's birthday that is coming up. The TT is also a lot of fun and has the same quality and feel as my old 2001 S4, though not as fast. I kind of want a TT now. Haha.
