Default over 100mph, my s2000 feels like its floating

Going over 100 mph and I hit a bump in the road or anything, and the car feels like its floating going that fast too, like its hard to steer it straight, and turning the steering wheel even just a little it will want to turn more then just a hair.

anyone else's S2000 like this? think something is wrong with my car or should I adjust my steering so that I have more play in the wheel? right now I have no play, if I move the wheel a hair at a normal crusing speed, the tires turn a little.

@100 mph I think thats quite normal.
The S feels very stable at high speeds for me.

Have you removed any of the mudflap-looking things from in front of your wheel wells? If so, some owners have described a floating feeling when those items are not on the car.

my '03 doesn't have any mudflap looking things, never did and I never noticed a bad "floating" feeling.

i don't really understand what you're trying to say, but hitting any bump at over 100mph in a car with stiff suspension like the s2k may send the tire to leave contact with the pavement. when the front tires leave the pavement, not only will you get a floating feeling, but you will lose partial to all steering response.

Probably your tires. Check your pressure, if the tires are old and worn out you can experience this as well.

My '03 is extremely stable a high speed. I suggest you check you alignment, shocks, tire wear and pressure. -Ken

I had an NSX before the s2000 and I found the s2000 not as stable above 100 as it is below 100, the NSX feels better than the s over 90, more stable and solid. I think the S gets too much lift over 100.
Has anyone added a front splitter and noticed an improvement?
Thanks.

I don't know where squeezer could get up to that speed in jxn, miss. Those roads are built on "yazoo clay" and have more undulations than a dragon's back.

As far as I know, those are standard but have to be screwed on by the dealer as part of the new car prep.

I'd ask your dealer to put them on.
