Default overrev.

thurs night, i ran a guy on the freeway, and there was a tad more traffic than id like, well i glanced in the mirror to look for cops at about 125, which just happens to be when i was shifting from 5th, to 6th. well i missed and went to 4th.. and im usually on it, but it seemd like it was in 4th for an eternity. i pushed the clutch back in as soon as i realized what was up ( my car is loud) and it was a split second, but all i could think of was BOOM. i was bent.
well, this morn, after the car sat all night, (no engine light btw) i pulled the cover and got out my lil light and baby mirror and spent 30 mins going over the retainers looking for cracks. NONE.... YAY!!! all i could think of, was thank god ap2, only revs to 8250. leaves me alot more room to go before i even hit 10k. and since 5th is close to 4th, it made it even less likely. but still i was scurred. this happened to any other ap2 owners yet. lates dave

AP2=extra 1000 rpm of insurance. Even if you did a full blown mis shift and hit 9200, it will be fine.

I think this is the whole reason for the redline decrease. To save engines, and they added the .2 liters to make up for the loss.

Move it to SE before the flames start for looking BACKWARDS at 125mph.
