I put 5 years.
Well, at the very least 5 years. I need this car to last until I can afford a house. Then, i'll see what's out and see what my $$ can get me in the year 2009! Maybe S2400? hehe

I know I will keep this car forever. My wife bought it for my birthday, and we have a kid. Who says you can't have an S and an Enzo?

I expect that even at 8 years & 100K plus miles it'll be fun to drive, regardless of dents, need for replacing parts, etc. I had 335K on my Accord , so I think my S2K will last a while ( even though I didn't track the Accord, I won't drive the S to Alaska in the spring).

10+ years, but I don't plan on babying it. I just figure that if it's paid for then I'm going to drive it until it drops. My Rx7 lasted me for 10 years and 188,000 miles before an abrupt shortening of the hood turned it into scrap.
I have no plans what-so-ever of ever selling it but I also have no plans what-so-ever of babying it. It's a sports car and ment to be driven hard (but not abused). Like you, I just salvaged parts of my MGA which I had for 32 years until it to met with a sudden stop due to a ticketed youngster.

It is nice so many others feel this is a car worthy of keeping.
