Thanks for all the replies, guys.

I still have to make up my mind, but I might consider buying a cheap (sub $2000) car at the end of the year and then put the s2000 in storage. I'll use covers during the year.

Thanks.

For me:

1) Yes
2) Yes

and I live in upstate NY with salty roads, deep snow (except this year), and absolutely NO garage. It's been fun!!

For me: 1) No, 2) No.

I love my S2000, but I often need more room than what it has - whether buying a new TV or bringing a couple of landscape timbers home. That's why I have my truck.

1)YES*
2)YES

* I've got 1 1/2 cars I take my girlfriend's car if the weather looks like it will be shitty, i.e., snow. Rain etc. doesn't bother/scare me....hell, it's a C A R, not a living room sculpture.

I've got a weathershield cover that kicks butt. Keep it clean, wash/wax/polish regularly and keep the dirt out of the interior and you'll be fine.

You can always beg, borrow or steal a minivan or something for going to Home Depot. There's no substitute for a fast roadster for pure driving enjoyment. Every time I get in this thing, it makes me smile

I like your reply, Ludedude.

Not really worried about being able to take things or people around. This is my car and as long as I have space for my cd case (the passenger seat) and once in a while my girl-friend, then I'm ok. If I need something bigger I can borrow one of two vans from work.

Thanks.

1) Maybe
2) NO

In Colorado, you need a garage to protect it from sun and hail damage. I would drive it on all nice days only. I would recommend a car cover and a clear bra for the front to protect it from the stone chips.
