Default Paint matching

I am considering buying a OEM chin spoiler and rear spoiler for my S, but am a bit concerned about paint matching. I've seen some pics of S's with OEM parts that were dealer installed and I can see a slight difference in color. Is there always going to be a bit of difference? I was going to order from Handa-accessories.com Any one have any experience with their stuff??

OEM comes prepainted so that is pretty much as good as it gets.

When I got my car there were no options on it and I really wanted the rear spoiler, so I ordered it hthrough my dealer and they installed it like a week after I got my car, the paint match is absolutely perfect. Then, after about 9 months of ownership I decided I also wanted the Front Underspoiler, so I ordered it from handa accessories and installed myself. There is a slight difference in color, it's pretty subtle, but I just love the look of the underspoiler so I can live with the un-perfectness. I say go for it, even if it's not perfect, it will be pretty darn close...

would you recommend ordering/installing through the dealer or handaaccessories.com to save some cash? How difficult was the install?

Bought from HandA on a GB for both. The install was very easy. You just need a ramp or lift for the front and a drill and bits for the back. I cringed drilling holes in my paint, but it is all well hidden.

With drilling holes in the trunk for the spoiler, is there a concern that it may eventually start to rust since there is exposed metal where you drill? (I'm assuming the trunk is metal?)

I didn't have any problem installing my front underspoiler in my garage with the car simply parked. No need to drive it up a ramp if you don't mind getting down and working on your back. The install took about an hour. Regarding the rear spoiler, I didn't install mine but remember reading that others were able to do it with ease. I too would be a little aprehensive about drilling holes in the trunk, but if others did it, why not, as long as you follow the directions. Don't know anything about potential rust, but I don't think it's an issue. I say go the HandA route, do your own installs and save some cha-ching!!!!
